Blaine
Original unframed oil painting, with the painting extended onto the sides of the canvas.
Blaine is a lobsterman who fishes out of Cape Porpoise. The scene is a cloudy fall day. Watching from the shore, I saw that the only vivid color in the scene was the lobsterman's bright orange overalls. I purposely used warm grays for the water to contrast with the cooler grays of the fishing boats.
